Consign4Sale must be in physical possession of your items before they will be listed. We will not list based simply on images or descriptions provided by the consignor. In addition, we will not accept "third party" listings. You must be the owner of the items consigned for sale. We also reserve the right to require proof of ownership when deemed necessary.
Consign4Sale will not accept for consignment pornographic materials, hazardous materials, intellectual property (unless you own the rights to said property), firearms and ammunition, used clothing, or any item prohibited for sale by eBay. In addition, we reserve the right to reject any item if we believe the sale of said item would be harmful to our business reputation.
Generally speaking, we will not accept for consignment items weighing in excess of 5 lbs. and/or physical dimensions exceeding that of a toaster. The reason for this is two-fold: The shipping cost for heavier items tends to depress bidding, and we simply don't have the storage capacity to handle too many large items. We will, however, make exceptions for more valuable merchandise where the cost of shipping is less relevant to realized value.
For general merchandise we prefer a minimum value of $50 for individual items and a total minimum consignment value of $500. We are flexible on this requirement, though, so feel free to contact us even if you don't think your consignment meets these minimums. Note also that these minimums do not apply to coins and numismatic items.
IMPORTANT: Once an item is listed, the auction will run its full course and the item must be sold to the highest bidder, regardless of price. The consignor agrees not to bid on their own possessions and understands that shill bidding is forbidden on eBay and agrees to observe all eBay rules.
A word about privacy: Our privacy policy is very simple. Barring a court order, we will not divulge your information to anyone. Ever. Period.
